It's October! I can't believe that we are at the tail of end 2019 already. First of all, I love the Fall 🍁which I mentioned in my weekly favorites last week, so I'm all for the fact that it is October. What I'm not all for is the fact that it has felt more like Spring lol. I need the leaves to begin to fall, chillier temperatures (but not freezing), sweaters, scarves and way less rain. Then it will feel like Fall to me.
On the other hand, it is starting to get darker earlier, which usually is a true indicator of Fall. Daylight saving is around the corner, and I can't pass up an extra hour of sleep. Something about transitioning into a new season makes me so tired, it's like my body is trying to figure out what the heck is going on. I'm hoping in the upcoming weeks to get back in the swing of things and get my Fall routine going! Slowly but surly it'll happen. Never fails that I'm always a few weeks late to getting in the groove of seasonal changes. Let alone all changes.
September felt like a blur honestly. The month dragged along and every weekend I had some social outing going on. I'm not complaining at all, just saying, this girl is tired! I'm looking forward to seeing what October has in store. I have a whole list of Fall things I want to do, like go to the Cider Mill, check out some Museums and there are a few movies that I want to check out too. Let's not forget that the Holiday season is coming, and I am all for Thanksgiving and Christmas. I can not wait! So much to be thankful for. I'm looking forward to cheesy Holiday movies, warm blankets, a hot cup of tea and spending time with my loved ones.

This time of year I really start to reflect on ways to make the next year even better, things I need to work on, and ways to grow. I also think a lot about how luckily I am to have had another year with my family and friends. Sometimes it's the little things that spark so much joy. Something about this season has always felt so familiar and so special for me. Here we go October... please be good!
